The workshop is intended for preschool children and is conceived in a way that our educators present Krka National Park to the children through stories and games, in a manner adapted to their age.
Children are first acquainted with Krka National Park, and its fundamental phenomenon – travertine, and the natural and cultural values. The illustrative way of telling the story of the bat Jopa, who tries to celebrate his 6th birthday, but is prevented from doing so due to water pollution, gives children an interesting view at how they as individuals can have a positive or negative effect on animals and nature through their own behaviour. The workshop ends with a YES/NO question session, after which every child becomes a “Mini park ranger”, and receives a diploma, badge and working materials.
