This workshop is intended for lower primary school grades and is conceived in a way that our educators present Krka National Park to the children through stories and games, in a manner adapted to their age.
The children are first acquainted with Krka National Park through a PowerPoint presentation. After this, they hear the story of the bat Jopa, who tries to celebrate his 6th birthday, but is prevented from doing so due to water pollution, gives children an interesting view at how they as individuals can have a positive or negative effect on animals and nature through their own behaviour. The workshop ends with a game in which children are put into smaller groups such that the best group wins special prizes at the end of the game. Each child becomes a “Little park ranger” and receives a diploma, badge and working materials.
