Map of Krka NP in the landscape installed at the Lozovac entrance

A large map of the entire catchment of the Krka River, with surrounding towns and settlements, covering most of Šibenik-Knin County was installed today at Lozovac, the main vehicle entrance to Krka NP

In order to facilitate visitor orientation in the area, and to acquaint them with the broader environs of the park and potential of the surrounding area for tourism services, this map has been installed at one of the most frequently visited areas in Dalmatia. This year, some 220,000 visitors passed through the Lozovac entrance, or nearly half of all visitors to the park, and therefore this map has found its perfect place right here.

This project was achieved in cooperation with the Šibenik Tourist Board, Šibenik-Knin County Tourist Board and the Public Institute of Krka National Park. About HRK 40,000 was spent on the technical development and installation of the map.

We believe that visitors will recognise the wealth of natural, cultural and historical sights in this area, and that the map will serve for better orientation and discovering the hidden gems of the county.
